TSAPI + Python = tsapiness!

An open source Python package converts survey data to TSAPI.

The project, delightfully named tsapiness (pronounced "zappiness"), provides a Python representation of TSAPI, so that the data can be manipulated accordingly.

Credit and well deserved thanks to Arrowstream Analytics, who had the idea, developed the project free of charge, and shared as open source. A shining example of collaboration and innovation, which the TSAPI initiative wishes to inspire.

In this early version you can convert a Triple-S file to TSAPI format, convert SPSS .SAV to TSAPI format, and read TSAPI from a webserver.

Future developments intend to convert other survey platform APIs to the TSAPI format, provide tools for converting flat TSAPI structures that occur when importing from sav or triple-s into the more native hierarchical TSAPI structure, and provide full documentation on how to use 'tsapiness' effectively.
